Urban battlegrounds: how can Labour win in cities in 2015?

Join us at our flagship fringe, in partnership with LabourList, during Labour Party Conference to debate the most important issues to urban areas ahead of the 2015 General Election

Event starts on 22 September 2014 at Cloud 23, Iris Lounge, Hilton, Manchester Deansgate (just outside the secure zone)

At the Centre for Cities flagship fringe during the 2014 Labour Party Conference, we will hear from a high level panel on what Labour needs to do to ensure it is making the most of the UK’s urban areas.

Of the marginal seats in the 2015 election, two thirds are in cities. Cities are where people live and work and they are where some of the biggest opportunities for jobs and economic growth are. They are also where big challenges play out.

We are delighted to be joined by:

Jon Cruddas MP, Head of the Labour Policy Review
Dr Purna Sen, Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Brighton Pavilion
Kitty Ussher, Managing Director, Tooley Street Research
and Alexandra Jones, Chief Executive, Centre for Cities (Chair)

Please join us to hear more about how Labour will take urban policy forward in the next five years.

Refreshments will be served, no registration required. For more information contact rsvp@centreforcities.org.
