It may only be 12 months since David Cameron secured the Conservative Party’s first majority in the House of Commons for 24 years, but attention is already switching to what the world will look like once he leaves office.
One of the key measures of success that Cameron’s administrations have set has been “rebalancing”, shifting power out of Westminster to the regions, and boosting economies outside the South East of England to the benefit of the national economy as a whole.
