The workshop will draw on Centre for Cities’ research into why some places have successful bustling hearts and others face challenges when it comes to attracting people and businesses.

Stakeholders will be invited to comment and discuss the kind of policy interventions places like Swindon are both currently making and could be implementing in future, with the right support from central government.
