Urban battlegrounds: how can the Conservatives win in cities in 2015?

Join us at our flagship fringe, in partnership with Renewal, during Conservative Party Conference to debate the most important issues to urban areas ahead of the 2015 General Election

Event starts on 29 September 2014 at Cullinan Suite, Copthorne Hotel (outside the secure zone), Paradise Circus, Birmingham, B3 3HJ

At the Centre for Cities flagship fringe during the 2014 Conservative Party Conference, we will hear from a high level panel on what the Conservative Party needs to do to ensure it is making the most of the UK’s urban areas.

Of the marginal seats in the 2015 election, two thirds are in cities. Cities are where people live and work and they are where some of the biggest opportunitites for jobs and economic growth are. They are also where big challenges play out.

We are delighted to be joined by:

Rt Hon Greg Clark MP, Minister for Universities, Science and Cities
Rachel MacLean, Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Birmingham Northfield
Nora Senior, President, British Chambers of Commerce
and Alexandra Jones, Chief Executive, Centre for Cities (Chair)

Please join us to hear more about how the Conservatives will take urban policy forward in the next five years.

Refreshments will be served, no registration required. For more information contact rsvp@centreforcities.org.
