Train, attract and retain: increasing Birmingham’s skilled workforce

We will be hosting an event to launch a new report looking at the skills levels of Birmingham's workforce

Event starts at 12pm on 28 February 2018 at Birmingham

We are delighted to be hosting a roundtable to launch a new report Train, attract and retain: increasing Birmingham’s skilled workforce, supported by ISG.

The event will explore the main findings of the report, and the wider policy implications for the city, and city region as a whole. Specifically it will look at:

  • The local skills force: what is the skills level of the people living and working in the city, and how does this vary by age?
  • The patterns of migration: where people come from, go to, and how does this vary by age and qualification levels?
  • The role of the city’s universities: do the graduates stay in the city? And do those who left for university come back? What do they do?

This discussion is by invitation only, but if you would like more information, please email rsvp@centreforcities.org .

This event is supported by ISG.
