Prior to our City Horizons evening lecture at the Shard, we will be convening an invitation-only roundtable with Prof Philip McCann for around 20 city policymakers from national and local government. This will be a chance to question one of the world’s most widely recognised economic geographers on how the British economy compares to that of other countries, how globalisation has affected different areas of the UK, and what the impact of Brexit might be.
This roundtable will take place between 3pm and 4.15pm on Monday 17th October 2016. The event is invitation only, but for more information please contact Simon Jeffrey at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The roundtable will be followed by a public lecture from Prof McCann at 5.30pm at the Shard. Details here.
