Learn more about our new high streets recovery tracker. Using anonymised mobile phone data, we look at the scale and the pace of city centre recovery so far across UK cities and large towns. The tracker will allow us all to analyse levels of activity across cities and understand where the degree to which activity is returning to previous levels and how different cities compare – for both their daytime and night-time economies.

At this event, Lahari Ramuni, Researcher at Centre for Cities talks us through the tracker, the data and what it is already showing about city centres as places of work and leisure, day and night.
