Private roundtable: perspectives on City Deals for skills and employment

In collaboration with UKCES, we are convening a group of experienced practitioners to discuss their experience of the City and Growth Deals for skills and employment.

Event starts at Contact for details on 26 February 2015 at Contact for details

Centre for Cities and UKCES are collaborating as part of an 18-month partnership exploring a range of skills and employment issues from a city perspective. The first paper (to be launched in a public event in March) will explore how recent agreements made as part of the City Deals and Local Growth Fund Deals have helped local partners meet their objectives and ambitions in relation to skills and employment. We are keen to capture cities’ and LEPs’ perspectives on the progress made to date and the opportunities and challenges faced by local partners in the months/years ahead.

We are inviting around 15 experienced practitioners in the field to discuss their views and experience to feed in to the final report.

This is an invitation only event but if you would like to find out more, contact Simon Jeffrey.

For more information on the research project and to feed in to the discussion, contact Naomi Clayton.
