We were back in Brighton for this year’s Labour Party Conference, and hosted a reception to welcome the conference to the city.

Supported by HSBC UK, this event gave the opportunity for attendees to hear from senior national and local Labour speakers about their plans for the city as it recovers from the pandemic.

Speakers were:

• Baroness Blake of Leeds, Shadow spokesperson (Communities and Local Government)
• Sir Sherard Cowper-Coles, Group Head of Public Affairs, HSBC
• Cllr Phelim Mac Cafferty, Leader of Brighton and Hove City Council
• Steve Reed, Shadow Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government
