Housing supply and affordability in high-demand cities

How can the Fast Growth Cities deliver more homes?

We are working with the Fast Growth Cities Group to host a high-level event to discuss how to deliver the high-quality, affordable homes their cities need to sustain their economic success and their communities.

Event starts at 10am on 17 September 2019 at London

Fast Growth Cities and Centre for Cities are working in partnership to host a senior-level stakeholder event to discuss how best to deliver the high-quality, affordable homes their cities need to sustain their economic success and their communities.

In two sessions – on increasing supply and on affordability – this event will be an opportunity to discuss exactly what this means, and what this should look like across the Fast Growth Cities. The event will be chaired by Andrew Carter, Chief Executive of Centre for Cities, and will be attended by the leaders of the five Fast Growth Cities – Cambridge, Oxford, Milton Keynes, Norwich and Swindon.

This is a small, private event intended for senior-level national stakeholders from Whitehall as well as representatives from the cities and the housing industry. If you are interested in learning more about this event, please contact Tom Flude.
