The first 100 days – what should be at the top of the West of England Mayor’s in-tray?

Join us in Bristol to discuss priorities for the new Mayor of the West of England.

Event starts at 5.30 pm on 14 September 2016 at The Aquarium, Anchor Road, Bristol BS1 5DB

Voters in the West of England are now less than 10 months away from electing their first Metro Mayor.  Discussions over whether or not the city region should have a mayor will soon be overtaken by the need to put in place the arrangements in order to be ready once the votes have been counted and the Mayor announced on Friday 5th May, 2017.

Centre for Cities is organising a policy discussion in each of the city regions that have signed devolution deals. Our aim is to bring voters and key local stakeholders together to discuss: The first 100 days – what should be at the top of the mayor’s in-tray?

Speakers:
Cllr Tim Warren Leader of Bath and North East Somerset Council
Dr Patricia Greer interim Chief Executive, West of England LEP
Prof Steve West Vice-Chancellor of the University of the West of England

The discussion will be followed by a Q&A. Sign up on eventbrite by clicking the link below:
