The first 100 days: what should be at the top of the Liverpool City Region mayor’s in-tray?

Voters in Liverpool City Region are now only 12 months away from electing their first Metro Mayor. Discussions over whether or not the city region should have a mayor have been overtaken by the need to put in place the arrangements to be ready once the votes have been counted and the mayor announced on Friday 5th May, 2017.

Centre for Cities has organised a policy discussion in each of the city regions that have signed devolution deals. We brought voters and key local stakeholders together to discuss: The first 100 days – what should be at the top of the mayor’s in-tray?

Joe Anderson Mayor of Liverpool
