Join us to discuss the prospects for our city centres post-lockdown

Event starts at 11.00-12.00 on 14 May 2020 at Online

What will be left of the high street after the lockdown? The lockdown has brought business to a halt for most companies on the high street. Non-essential shopping, restaurants, bars and pubs have been severely disrupted. Can our city centres recover and what help might they need?

At this event, Lahari Ramuni, Researcher, and Paul Swinney, Director of Policy and Research at Centre for Cities look at how high streets and city centres across the country were performing before the lockdown and what this might tell us about their future.

The presentation is followed by a Q&A chaired by Andrew Carter, Chief Executive of Centre for Cities.
