Event starts at 12.00- 13.15 on 25 January 2021 at Online

Join us for the launch of Cities Outlook 2021, our flagship annual review of the state of urban Britain.

This year, Cities Outlook will take an in-depth look at the economic impact of the pandemic and what it means for cities and large towns around the country.

We know that cities and large towns have been among the hardest hit. Will the pandemic be a major setback or just a bump in the road?

At this event we will set out the findings of our latest research and our recommendations about what needs to change and the nature of the challenges ahead.

Speakers:

  • Jesse Norman MP, Financial Secretary to the Treasury
  • Rajesh Agrawal, Deputy Mayor of London for Business
  • Judith Blake, Leader of Leeds City Council
  • Abi Brown, Leader of Stoke-on-Trent City Council
  • Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester
  • Steve Rotheram, Mayor of Liverpool City Region
  • Sir Peter Soulsby, Mayor of Leicester

Their contributions were be followed by a Q&A session chaired by Andrew Carter, Chief Executive of Centre for Cities.
