Cities and Brexit

Private roundtable discussion on how cities can respond to the opportunities and challenges of Brexit

Event starts on 3 August 2016 at Centre for Cities

Centre for Cities is inviting chief executives and senior officers from cities to discuss they might work together to make the most of the opportunities as well as the challenges created by the EU referendum result.

Prof Tony Travers will open the conversation with some reflections on opportunities for cities and on the work he is doing with London, before we have a wider discussion about individual city responses to Brexit and explore a series of options for cities seeking to boost jobs and growth and to help people adapt to globalisation and reconnect to government. The aim of the session is to ensure that everyone is broadly aware of what others are doing, and can explore whether there is an appetite to work together to formulate a common approach to the current and future government.

This event is invitation-only and will be held under Chatham House rules. For any queries, please contact Simon Jeffrey.
