Sian leads our public affairs and stakeholder engagement strategies, building partnerships with the politicians, policy makers, academics and businesses interested in our work. She also oversees all our work on media, events, fundraising and digital communications.
Sian joined the Centre in February 2022 from the Department for Transport, where she was responsible for developing relationships with external stakeholders as Head of External Affairs and, latterly, led communications around HS2, East West Rail and Northern Powerhouse Rail as Head of Communications for Major Rail Projects. She has previously worked in local government and for a business membership organisation.
Sian holds a BA in Politics from the University of Nottingham, and postgraduate diplomas in Local Government Management (University of Warwick) and Strategic Communications Leadership (University of Huddersfield).
