Lena Tochtermann

Lena worked at the Centre for Cities from March 2008 to October 2011. Lena specialises in transport and links between cities, and worked with a consortium of partners on a major City Relationships project. Her research has a report on transport integration and research on congestion charging. Lena also led the Centre’s research with Cambridge, PUSH and Croydon.

Lena studied Economic Geography, Economics and Business Studies at the University of Munich, with time spent at the University of Manchester, and she holds a MSc (Hons) in Local Economic Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her dissertation focused on the link between manufacturing agglomeration and transport infrastructure.
