Ben left the Centre in November 2016. While at the Centre he oversaw the External Affairs team, with responsibility for communications, fundraising and positioning. He has a decade of experience in the economic development, housing and regeneration sectors, is a regular media contributor and speaks at events across the country on a range of economic and policy issues.
Prior to joining the Centre in 2012, Ben established and led Future of London – an independent, not for profit, policy network focused on the big regeneration and housing challenges facing the Capital. Previously, as an economic development specialist at PwC, Ben advised a range of public and private sector clients across the UK on matters relating to infrastructure finance, economic development and growth.
Ben began his career at the Institute for Public Policy Research, and was part of the team that initially launched the Centre for Cities as an independent think tank.
