The major challenge for the next Government is to consolidate the national economic recovery while completing the task of eliminating the structural deficit. Achieving both these aims requires all UK cities to fulfill their economic potential. Our letter to the Chancellor sets out three ways to do this by supporting those cities with the greatest capacity to drive economic growth in the short-term:

  1. Fiscal Devolution for London
  2. Commit to Tackling the Housing Crisis in the 10 Least Affordable Cities
  3. Cement the Manchester Devolution Agreement
