Centre for Cities and UKCES have launched a major 18-month partnership to understand and inform the changing landscape of skills and employment policy in UK cities. The partnership is recognition that skills are integral to the economic success of UK cities, impacting on business competitiveness and the job  prospects, pay and wellbeing of individuals.  The first public meeting of this partnership will be a chance to discuss the findings of the first output, City Growth Through People: How have City Deals and Local Growth Deals impacted upon skills and employment at the local level?

The discussion will also offer participants the opportunity to inform UKCES and Centre for Cities of what research they would value over the next year.

This event was due to be held between 1pm-2.30pm on Thursday 19 March 2015 in the Lecture Hall, 12 Great George Street, Parliament Square, London, SW1P 3AD. Will will update with new arrangements shortly
