Greater than the sum

Join us in leeds for the launch of our new report looking at how cities can best use their assets

Event starts at 2pm on 20 June 2017 at Leeds

As budgets get ever tighter, cities have become increasingly innovative in finding ways to increase their revenues and utilise their existing assets more effectively, driving growth in investment, jobs and productivity. This roundtable will be a chance for representatives from cities, national government, public bodies and the private sector to discuss how cities can make the most of their assets, and what mechanisms need to be in place to help them do that most effectively.

The roundtable will be part of the launch of a brand new report from the Centre for Cities, in partnership with Bevan Brittan and Turner & Townsend exploring how cities are making the most of their assets. Alongside a presentation of the key findings, attendees will also hear from Cllr Judith Blake, Leader of Leeds Council on the steps the city has taken to make best use of its land and property.
