The first 100 days – what should be at the top of the mayor of Sheffield City Region’s in-tray?

Centre for Cities is holding a panel debate with guest speaker Lord David Blunkett about the top priorities for the new Sheffield City Region mayor.

Event starts at 5.30pm on 14 July 2016 at Adelphi Room, Crucible Theatre, 55 Norfolk Street, Sheffield S1 1DA

Voters in Sheffield City Region are now only 12 months away from electing their first Metro Mayor. Discussions over whether or not the city region should have a mayor have been overtaken by the need to put in place the arrangements to be ready once the votes have been counted and the mayor announced on Friday 5th May, 2017.

Centre for Cities is organising a policy discussion in each of the city regions that have signed devolution deals. Our aim is to bring voters and key local stakeholders together to discuss: The first 100 days – what should be at the top of the mayor’s in-tray?
