Deal again: what is the future for city devolution in Scotland?

Join us for our breakfast roundtable at the SNP Conference to debate city devolution in Scotland

Event starts at 8.30am on 16 October 2015 at Holiday Inn Express Exhibition Centre, Aberdeen

For the first time we will be at the SNP Conference in partnership with Core Cities to ask what role cities will play as Scotland prepares for more devolution.

The breakfast roundtable to be held just outside the conference centre will discuss and debate how policy can support city economies to thrive in a way that benefits the whole of Scotland, and ask whether Glasgow’s city deal could be replicated or improved upon for other Scottish cities.

The event will bring together around 20 senior level attendees from cities, business and policy. Alison Thewliss, MP for Glasgow Central and Cities Spokesperson for the SNP and Cllr Sandy Howat, SNP Group Leader and Deputy Leader, Edinburgh City Council are confirmed to speak.

Places are limited but please get in touch with Rita Beden on rsvp@centreforcities.org if you would like more details.
