Cities Outlook 2015

This year's Cities Outlook will focus on the enduring nature of the North/South divide, and why the recent cross-party emphasis on city-region devolution needs to be strengthened.

Event starts at 12:00 on 19 January 2015 at City Hall, London

Cities Outlook, now in its eighth year, is the authoritative economic index of Britain’s largest cities and towns.  Each year, it generates a high-profile and constructive debate on the economic opportunities and challenges Britain’s cities face.

A key focus for Cities Outlook 2015 will be the enduring nature of the North/South divide, the response of urban policy to this challenge, and why the recent cross-party emphasis on city-region devolution needs to be strengthened.

For the launch event, we’re delighted to be joined by Greg Clark MP, Minister of State for Universities, Science and Cities, Kersten England, Chief Executive of York City Council, and George Ferguson, Mayor of Bristol. The event will bring together 120 senior guests, composed of representatives from Westminster, Whitehall and cities around the country, employers and business organisations, and national and local press.
