Dmitry holds an MSc Urban Economic Development from UCL. His academic research interests are in the impact of mega-events on urban economies.
Dmitry joined Centre for Cities in September 2011, straight after completing his MSc. Prior to coming to the UK as a student he held an expert position at the Institute for Urban Economics, a think tank in Moscow, Russia. His work concentrated on Real Estate market regulation policies, planning as well as research into broader variety of urban economic issues in Russia and other CIS countries.
