Analyst

Louise left the Centre in September 2016. Her work at the Centre focused on funding and finance, producing city-level data on public finances and tax revenues, analysing the contribution that cities make to the national Exchequer and exploring models and solutions for fiscal devolution. She also led on research exploring how cities can make the most of their land and property assets to support economic growth, and what cities can do to maximise the performance of their city-centres to support high-knowledge jobs.

Louise joined Centre for Cities in October 2013, having previously worked as a policy researcher and project manager, with stints in and around her studies in international development and communications. She holds an MSc in Media and Communications from the London School of Economics and a BSc in Economics and Politics from the University of Bristol.
