Bethan joined the Centre for Cities as an intern in June 2015. Her main interests include the labour market, skills and education, entrepreneurship and the study of how such factors can stimulate economic growth.

She has interned at Westminster with both ‘The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Entrepreneurship’ and ‘The Pink Shoe Club’, working to encourage and support enterprise in the UK. Her interest in education has also led to her to work as a teacher in Paris with The British Council. She helped to improve English language tuition in struggling schools. She graduated from The University of Sheffield with a BSc in Economics in 2014.
