Time for high speed rail?

Date: 25/03/2009

CBI Conference Centre, Centre Point, London, 25th March 2009

The Government has given its strongest backing yet to the possibility of a UK high-speed rail network with the announcement that a new company, High Speed 2, would consider the case for a line initially to the West Midlands with a connection to Heathrow.

With Lord Andrew Adonis, Minister of State for Transport, providing the keynote address, this one-day conference gives you the perfect opportunity to discuss and debate the Government's thinking on this critical area.
