Eco-towns: green solution or white elephant?

Dermot Finch has been invited to speak at the CPRE / RIBA 'Climate Clinic' joint fringe event entitled 'Eco-towns: Green Solution or White Elephant?' at Liberal Democrat Party Conference, discussing whether eco-towns can deliver the Government's stated aspirations.

The event will be held on Monday 15 September between 17.45 and 19.00 at Punshon House opposite the Convention Hall. Other speakers will include Dan Rogerson MP, Shadow Minister of Communities and Local Government, Adam Sampson of Shelter, as well as Sunand Prasad and Shaun Spiers of RIBA and CPRE. The key question for debate is whether Eco-towns can deliver on stated aspirations and whether they are consistent with the plan-led approach.
