In this event, Glenn will discuss recent work of the centre on the next economic challenges for UK cities. He will focus on the recent economic performance of cities, and in particular discuss the opportunity for UK cities from economic globalisation. Glenn will also reflect on the past year’s developments in policy for cities including the subnational review, the work of the Centre for Cities to date, and the Centre’s future research agenda in 2008 and beyond.
