On Monday 10 July we published a booklet with the Northwest Development Agency called 'Cities Northwest'. It discusses the prospects for city-regional governance in the North West, starting with Greater Manchester. This follows up our City Leadership report, published in February.

'Cities Northwest' includes contributions from Cllr Richard Leese (Leader, Manchester City Council) and Cllr Warren Bradley (Leader, Liverpool City Council). We also have contributions on Blackpool, Preston and Blackburn - from Professor Sir Peter Hall, Dr Malcolm McVicar and David Taylor.

'Cities Northwest' was launched at the Radisson in Liverpool on Monday 10 July.
