Cities are becoming the primary driver of economic growth and development, in both the developed and the emerging economies. The economic base and rationale for cities in the post-industrial West is changing rapidly as globalisation gathers pace. This conference brought together practitioners in government and commerce together with leading academics in the area to explore practical questions for advisers and policy-makers.
The Centre for Cities' Max Nathan participated in the future city dwellers session, along with Liam Bailey, Head of Residential Research at Knight Frank.
